Editorial Standards
Define the claim. Keep the evidence and its limits attached.
Scope and terminology
The Mining Field Notes is an explanatory collection. Physical mineral mining, cryptocurrency proof of work, AI inference, AI training, and prompt evaluation are labeled as distinct subjects. “AI prompt mining” is defined in its guide as a workflow for discovering and evaluating reusable instructions from permitted examples.
Sources and original reasoning
Each long-form guide includes one editorial outbound link to a relevant primary source. The surrounding article develops original explanations, hypothetical examples, proposed worksheets, and interview questions. Those exercises are not represented as reported experiments or data collected from a real operation.
Important definitions are linked to appropriate protocol documentation, research, or commodity information. Source dates and scope matter. A historical explanation should not be used as a current price, equipment ranking, or forecast.
Numbers and claims
Worked examples state their assumptions. They are intended to explain units, boundaries, and reasoning—not to forecast earnings or value a real deposit. We do not invent search-volume metrics, testimonials, professional credentials, guest appearances, audience figures, sponsorships, or live production statistics.
A supporting source can contain a broad range of statements. A link does not mean that the site endorses every claim on that page. The relevant definition or concept should be understood in the context of the guide that cites it.
Corrections and updates
A correction request should identify the page, passage, issue, and supporting evidence. Material edits should be reflected in the article's modification date. The visible article date, structured data, and feed entry use the same publication date.
The contact page explains how to send a correction. Changes to a headline should not silently erase the context needed to understand an earlier statement.
Audio and accessibility
Audio field notes are short narrated introductions, not recordings of guest interviews. Every audio item has a full transcript and a link to its companion guide. Moving visual elements have a pause control and respect the browser's reduced-motion preference.
Commercial separation
A commercial inquiry does not guarantee coverage or a favorable conclusion. Any future sponsored material should be identified where it appears. The site does not present an inquiry link as an available paid placement or a completed partnership.
